EchelonedWoW

The 1st of March, 2008. A bright, dawning new age. EchelonedWoW awoke, and with it brought a new kind of GM. First run on a repack, hosted on a home computer in the middle of Australia, source code was soon acquired and has since been edited mercilessly to account for the needs of a GM server. Now EchelonedWoW is tenderly cared for on top-of-the-range hardware, which is optimized for the most demanding environments, supported by donations and votes.

Immerse yourself immediately into a sea of GM commands, roleplay and mindless PvP. With an average latency at peak hour of less than 150ms with several hundred players online, EchelonedWoW can comfortably hold many more.

The Realms

Terra (GM #1)
Terra is the GM Realm for PvP, although very little real PvP actually takes place. Terra mostly serves as a guinea pig for retail's latest patches, and it is because of this that the population can vary a lot.
The main Administrators for this Realm are Tusker, Dynamite, Amy and Troof.

Helion (GM #2)
Helion is the GM Realm for roleplay. The playerbase of this Realm is large, but due to this, it can be hard to get real answers to some questions that may arise.
The main Administrators for this Realm are Kaiyne, Arcadius, The Scrivener, Aoleleb and Knaralis.

Avari (Blizzlike)
Starting life early 2009 as a PvP Funserver, the idea was scrapped. In the first week of February, 2010, Avari was opened. A fully functioning Blizzlike realm, devoted to being 100% like retail - minus the cost. All bugs, however minor, are treated the same, within the first week over 7 patches were applied.
All administrators are GMs on Avari.

In patch 3.3.0, Blizzard changed the way that items were recognised by the client. The outcome of this is that you are unable to cast any spells on the item. EchelonedWoW didn't take long to fix not only the spells but those pesky question marks: you can find our Itemfixes patch here.

The Books were just updated, if you can't see the new content please close WoW and delete your Cache folder. If you find any bugs, please report them here. Alternatively, you can join the discussion on the forums here.
